1. BCS provides Christian
education for children, pre-kindergarten through grade 12. Abeka and Bob
Jones University Christian curriculum materials are used in the traditional
classroom setting.

Procedure for Enrollment: Children who reach the age of 3 by
Sept. 1 are eligible to enroll in Pre-3 classes. Children who reach the
age of 4 by Sept. 1 are eligible to enroll in Pre-4 classes. Children
who reach the age of 5 by Sept. 1 are eligible to enroll in Kindergarten.
A copy of the child's birth certificate, baptism and health records in
addition to completion of a registration form and submission of registration
fees are required.
History: The Sisters of Saints Cyril and Methodius from nearby
Danville, PA founded St. Columba School in 1954. Currently, this Catholic
elementary school offers a complete curriculum with state certified teachers
in Preschool through Grade 6. All are lay faculty with the exception of
Second Grade who are taught by a religious of the same order as the founding
sisters. St. Columba School proudly celebrates it’s 50th anniversary
with plans to reopen Grade 7 for the 2004-2005 school year and Grade 8
in 2005-2006.
